A pretty little park with a beautiful, natural wetland. The Mississippi River is a short hike over the levee. The campground is spacious, with plenty of room to park your boat and trailer nearby.

Flaming Prairie Park & Campground is OPEN!!  Camping at Flaming Prairie is $17/night. Self-register at the kiosk in the campground.

NOTE: This area is often closed when the Mississippi River is high.

Flaming Prairie campsites are first-come, first-served only. A self-pay box is available at the campground kiosk.

Dump Station
There are NOT full hookups with septic & water in any LCC campground. There is a dump station available in Wapello at the North End Park. Call the City of Wapello for more information.
