Come celebrate the completion of the Wetland Interpretive Trail. There will be a short dedication speech and ribbon cutting at 3:30 pm, followed by light refreshments and time to explore.
Visitors can expect to explore wetlands, the role wetlands play in the great web of life and the plants and animals that call them home.
There will be fishing available at the LIC pond, guided hikes through the trail and prairie and of course, the ability to explore on your own.
Visitors may want closed-toe shoes and long pants to venture into the prairie, or mud boots to explore the wetlands.
However, plenty of adventure can also be found from the mowed or granular surfaced paths.
Come outside and explore the Wetland Interpretive Trail with us!
