Shenanigans: Animals in Charge! A Drive-In Puppet Show! FREE!

Giant puppets will explore what happens when the animals are in charge!

Eulenspiegel Puppets will perform a brand new show  at the Louisa County Fairgrounds. This show features the fun adventures animals are having while humans are limiting their community contacts. Based on true stories of animal antics during a pandemic, with a lot of imagination thrown in. Imagine what you might do if you were an alligator visiting a deserted mall! Or a penguin released from the zoo! Mother Earth is depicted by a parade sized puppet. She invites us into this world of wonder and reminds the humans to be kind and respectful to all her creatures and our environment. This show is sure to delight audience members of all ages.

This show is free but registration is required. Call the Columbus Junction Public Library 319-728-7972 to register. Space is limited. Please plan to arrive by 7:15 pm to allow plenty of time for parking drive-in style. You are welcome to bring lawn chairs or sit in the bed of your pick-up truck. The sound will come through your radio speakers. A rain/cold date has been set for Saturday, April 3, same time, same place. This show is co-sponsored by Louisa County Public Libraries and Louisa County Conservation.
