Discover the wonderful world of birds then choose your favorite bird! Make your chosen bird out of critter playdough and watch it get nibbled at the bird blid.

No birding experience is necessary.  We will be hitting the trails at Langwood Education Center to count and identifiy birds, but there will also be the option to stay indoors to count. Families with younger children can explore the bird blind area or count from the windows in the lodge. Participants can also go on bigger adventures through the woods using the various trails at Langwood.

Join more than 160,000 people worldwide who participate in the Great Backyard Bird Count!  Participants will learn about this citizen science and how the annual count helps scientists answer questions abour birds all over the world.Pre-registration is not required. Participants can come and go as they please during the event time. Count for 20 minutes or stay for the whole event!
