Maple Syruping: Tap the Sap

Where does maple syrup come from? Explore the time honored tradition of making maple syrup. Learn about maple trees and get the chance to extract sap and make maple syrup. We will be doing the important maple syrup taste-test with pancakes and sausage after tapping the trees!

  • Registration information: Children who want to attend alone or with friends: $10/child (age 8+) We will meet at 9 am at the Louisa County Conservation office and the Naturalists will drive a van to Vogeler's. We'll return to the office at noon. 

    Individuals or Families who want to meet us there: $3/person or $5/family. ALL ages are welcome to attend! Plan on arriving at 9:30 and leaving around 11:30. Register and pay online using a credit card
