Gear up for a fun day of outdoor recreation and adventure! The fourth annual Langwood Adventure Day is sure to be a big hit again this year! Louisa County Conservation is being joined by many different organizations and conservation groups in the area to hold the Adventure Day at Langwood Education Center. Langwood will be busy with tons of interesting activities and awesome sessions which vary from high ropes, kayaking, canoeing, shooting sports, fishing, hikes and so much more!
The stations will be open from 8:00 am - 12:00 pm with a free lunch/raffle after.
Participants eight years or older are invited to try the High Ropes Challenge Course. This requires a separate form that is completed by the parent or guardian. Without this form you will not be able to participate in the ropes course.
Partners for this event include: Port Louisa National Wildlife Refuge, Iowa DNR, Tri-Rivers Conservation Foundation, Izaak Walton League, and Louisa County Volunteer Hunter Education Instructors. Don't miss this day of free outdoor fun!
