Toolesboro Touchstones: Twelve Monthly Events for 2020

Toolesboro Touchstones: Twelve Monthly Events for 2020

Toolesboro Mounds National Historic Landmark includes some of the best-preserved and accessible remnants of Iowa’s Hopewell Culture, a Middle Woodland people who hunted, gathered, and gardened. The Toolesboro Mounds date from 200 B.C. to 300 A.D. and are an incredible resource located in Louisa County.

Louisa County Conservation and Nancy Hayes will be presenting twelve monthly events in 2020 to highlight the cultural resources represented at Toolesboro and throughout Louisa County.

Toolesboro Touchstone events will range from hands-on, family friendly events to guest speakers. Some events will take place at Toolesboro Mounds & Museum while others will take place in nearby communities.

We invite you all to the Toolesboro Touchstone Events. Click on the event name for more information.
