Environmental Education

The goal of Louisa County Conservation's environmental education program is to create environmentally knowledgeable and aware citizens who enjoy and wisely use our natural resources and environment. 


We work to create these citizen's and promote stewardship through various programs and events on conservation, recreation and environmental education. Aside from school groups, we also serve the following groups: civic, scouts,  4-H, and other youth groups, to name a few.  We offer a diversity of summer and winter nature camps; eXtreme adventure activities and public programs to pique

 one's interests!  Check out the list of current upcoming events.

Most program topics can be adapted to fit any grade level, curriculum need, or time limit. Feel free to call or email if you don't see a topic that your're looking for.
