Size: 106 acres

Habitat: park, prairie, pond, forest, uplands

Amenities: playground, picnic shelter (reserve shelter), picnic tables, grills, fire rings, restrooms with pit toilets, electricity, water, campground, 5-acre pond, handicap fishing dock, historic schoolhouse, trails, walk-down access for putting in non-motorized boats

Activities: picniking, camping, fishing (pond), nature study, bird watching, hunting

Camping at Virginia Grove

Campsites:  11 sites with 50/30/20 amp electric.  One group camping spot without electric.  Sites are gravel pads with campfire ring and picnic tables. 

Sorry but we DO NOT have full hook-up sites with septic and water.  NO dump station - closest is in Wapello at the North End Park.

Cost: $12/night per site - cash, check or Louisa County Camping Coupons are accepted

Hunting: squirrel, deer, turkey, rabbit

Trails: 3-miles of looping trails with a natural surface through timber (flat to slightly challenging)
